AdRoll Promotes Gabriner to CEO
San Francisco-based ad retargeting platform AdRoll has promoted Toby Gabriner to CEO, replacing co-founder Aaron Bell who is moving to the full-time post of Chief Product Officer.
AdRoll helps clients create personalized ad campaigns based on their own web site data, with a suite of tools that works across devices. It also offers an opt-in advertiser data co-op called the IntentMap, with more than 1.2 billion digital profiles. Gabriner (pictured) has nearly two decades of digital advertising experience, including serving as President of Carat Interactive; CEO of [x+1]; President and CEO of Adap.tv; and CEO of Adzilla. He joined AdRoll last year as an advisor, and most recently served as President.
Bell, who will now oversee engineering, product, UX, data science and supply, comments: 'Toby and I have forged a remarkable partnership over the last 12 months, and I look forward to continuing the work we've begun in our new roles. As a complement to Toby's leadership and talents, I welcome the opportunity to draw on my passion for innovation and take AdRoll to new heights'.
The company has nearly 500 employees, with six additional offices in New York, Chicago, Tokyo, London, Dublin and Sydney; and is online at www.adroll.com .
