QOR Buys Rights to Australian Lifestyle Survey Panel
Quality Online Research (QOR) has acquired the right to transfer the 100,000 respondents of Australia Post's 'Australian Lifestyle Survey' (ALS) to its own panel, before the ALS closes on 1st December.
ALS was set up to undertake studies for third party clients, but will be decommissioned from the beginning of next month, due to strategic changes at national mail deliverer Australia Post. QOR was invited to tender for the purchase of the ALS, with the deal including all panellists' profile information - on behaviour, interests, and attitudes from the questionnaires they completed when joining the panel. They will now be invited to join QOR's panel.
QOR says the addition of ALS research panellists will enable it to 'significantly' increase the size of its panel, while maintaining the quality of the respondent base. QOR Chairman Brian Fine (pictured) adds: 'This acquisition benefits all parties and we are delighted to continue our positive and productive relationship with Australia Post'.
