Growth Funds for Influencer Platform Join
Netherlands-based influencer marketing platform Join has raised an undisclosed amount of funding, which it will use to expand across Europe, while continuing to develop its AI-based software.
Founded by entrepreneurs Paolo Martorino and Edwin Knip earlier this year, Join claims to be the first AI-powered influencer marketing platform that uses technology to automatically match content from influencers to brands. The new funding, which Join describes as a 'significant amount of money', comes from investor Airbridge Equity Partners. Join is active in several European countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and the UK, and will use the investment to expand to new European markets. Martorino says it will also be used to expand the team, connect more influencers and brands to the platform, and to apply technological innovations.
Knip adds: 'With this funding we can innovate at a higher pace and take our data-integration and AI to the next level. By doing so we can not only optimize the way the platform works, but also develop and apply new techniques to enhance our service. Through machine learning we'll be able to learn about influencers' personality and style to make even better matches. Moreover, we're working on visual searching integrations'.
