More Growth Funding for NGDATA
Belgium-based customer data platform NGDATA has raised just over $19m in a Series C round of funding, which it will use to accelerate global growth.
The firm, which has additional offices in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific, offers a CEM software solution called Lily Enterprise, which combines machine learning with big data from point-of-sale (POS) systems, enterprise applications, social media sites and other sources to generate a snapshot of consumer preferences and behaviour, helping with personalisation. Earlier this year, NGDATA acquired New York-based business data management and analytics consultancy Eccella, which helps clients develop and adopt data-driven strategies.
New funding has been led by HPE Growth Capital, with participation from existing investors including Idinvest Partners, Pamica, SmartFin Capital, Capricorn Venture Partners and Nausicaa Ventures, and adds to the $9.4m raised in January. Total financing to date is close to $50m.
CEO Luc Burgelman (pictured) comments: 'For the past five years, NGDATA has been steadfast in helping marketers improve every touchpoint across the customer journey, and we've designed and continually improved Lily to deliver smarter, more informed customer experiences. This funding not only validates our success in achieving these goals, but it also supports our commitment to be the leading global customer data platform provider'.
Headquartered in Ghent, the firm is online at www.ngdata.com .
