Beehive Hires Callaghan for First BD Director Role

In London, custom research consultancy Beehive Research has appointed MR industry veteran Neil Callaghan as its first Business Development Director.

Neil CallaghanLaunched in 2007 by former Experian exec Paul Kavanagh, Beehive offers a full range of qual, quant and online research techniques for customer and employee experience programmes, global insights studies, and NPD and concept testing. Callahan (pictured) joins with twenty years' MR sales experience, five of which were spent at customer experience specialist Maru/edr (formerly known as eDigitalResearch), where he served as Head of Business Development. Before this, he was Commercial Manager at Nielsen Retailer Direct Data Solutions, and UK Sales Manager of Nielsen's FMCG analytics unit Decisions Made Easy. Earlier in his career, Callaghan was an Account Director at IRI, and he worked for Entri Market Research and NOP Mystery Shopping, having begun his career at M&S. More recently, Callaghan worked for Canadian employee engagement tech start-up, Nudge Rewards.

Commenting on the appointment, Kavanagh said: 'It's great to have Neil on board. We have had a great first ten years, with some wonderfully loyal clients many of whom we've worked with continuously since we started. Neil is coming on board at an exciting time and will be driving our 2020 growth strategy, and he is the first of some new hires this year'.
