Ward Joins GQR to Lead Expanded Comms Practice

In Washington, DC, polling and research firm Greenberg Quinlan Rosner (GQR) has hired Colin Ward to lead its expanded Corporate and Advocacy Communications practice.

Colin WardThe firm offers research to inform communications strategies - 'whether for presidents of countries or presidents of corporations'. Ward (pictured) joins with a background of working with corporations, political campaigns and advocacy groups to develop multi-channel marcoms strategies. Most recently he worked for global NGO Women for Women International as Director of Marketing, and was credited with aligning the organization's earned and paid media strategies and rebuilding its digital program. He also served as the Director of Marketing for the Democratic National Committee, where he integrated messaging across channels, and brought a data-driven orientation to the marketing department. Earlier, Ward worked with a variety of corporate and advocacy clients, running national campaigns for several major brands; having begun his career working with corporate clients at a boutique ad agency.

GQR says with the addition of Ward it has expanded its capabilities to provide services such as message and speech development, marketing and communications campaign planning, branding, reputation management and crisis communications.
