Cardlytics Promotes for CTO Role
Purchase intelligence platform Cardlytics has promoted Sathish Gaddipati, formerly SVP and Head of Technology, to Chief Technology Officer.
Cardlytics, whose technology tracks consumers' buying and rewards them according to their individual purchase behaviour, is headquartered in Atlanta, GA with offices in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and London. Heavily backed by Discovery Capital and others, the firm partners with more than 2,000 financial institutions to run their banking rewards programs and in 2016 its platform aggregated and analyzed around $1.3 trillion in US spending, representing one in five debit and credit card swipes nationwide.
Gaddipati, who has played a key role in the development of the platform, will continue to lead engineering, technical product management, software development, QA and IT operations for the company. Prior to joining, he oversaw teams building data and analytics platforms at The Weather Channel, The Walt Disney Company, NCR Corporation, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Sun Microsystems and Omnitracs. He holds an MS in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), and a recently awarded patent for his low latency, high payload, high volume API gateway.
