Sean Larkins Named CEO of Kantar Public Consulting

Kantar Public, which focuses on public policy, services and communications, has promoted Sean Larkins to the role of Global CEO of its Consulting division, based in London.

Launched in 2016, Kantar Public works with governments on six continents, and has offices in twenty markets including London, Washington, Brussels, Singapore, Sydney, Delhi, Nairobi and Cape Town. Consulting is one of its four operating divisions, which also include Research, Data and Analytics Services; the International Development practice; and Political and Media Advisory. Kantar Public Consulting has staff in its London and Paris offices and is currently building its team, with hires in Australia and the Middle East planned for 2018.

Larkins (pictured) joined Kantar in 2015, having previously worked for the UK Government, where he was Deputy Director for Government Communications, based in the Prime Minister's Office and Cabinet Office communications team. He initially took up the role of Director of Capability and Consulting for The WPP Government & Public Sector practice, a role that he retains. Since joining he has been responsible for the development and launch at Davos of The Leaders' Report, the first global study into the future of government communications. Last year, he also became Head of Faculty for WPP's Executive Education programmes on integrated communications for behaviour change at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, and at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford.
