Decibel Insight Hires Brandwatch's Walser
Even Walser, formerly EVP at social media intelligence specialist Brandwatch, has joined enterprise analytics provider Decibel Insight as Chief Revenue Officer.
Headquartered in the US, Decibel uses machine learning and other technology to process behavioral metrics and reveal how users behave on web sites and apps - from mouse movements and device rotations to pop-ups and errors. Last year, the firm raised $9m in a Series A round of funding, and opened an office in San Francisco.
Walser (pictured) joins from Brandwatch, where he latterly served as EVP, EMEA Revenue, leading the region's commercial teams and executing go-to-market strategy. During his time with the company, he also helped to build its San Francisco and Paris offices, as well as the North American Enterprise sales team. Prior to this he worked for social media analysis and tracking firm Topsy (acquired by Apple) as Director of Sales; and earlier he held senior roles with marketing automation specialist Genius.com, health tech firm Practice Fusion, and investment firm Oppenheimer.
