NGDATA Adds Group Insight Features to Lily
Gent, Belgium-based CEM solutions company NGDATA has enhanced its 'Lily' customer data platform, providing individual and group level customer insights via the new Group DNA feature.
NGDATA helps clients in a variety of 'data-rich industries' to provide more connected customer experiences, and its Lily Customer DNA software continuously learns from customer behavior and context in real time. The firm also has offices in the United States, elsewhere in Europe and in the Asia-Pacific region. A month ago, it raised just over $19m in a Series C round of funding, bringing its total financing to date close to $50m.
Group DNA allows data and insights to be generated at different levels: for example users can now connect individuals that are a part of a household, taking into account the relationships between the different members to improve experiences for 'the individual, as well as the connected group'. A new feature called OneAnalytics allows users to apply insights from Lily DNA to 'other entities, including campaigns, products, offers and more'.
Lily now supports multiple languages; multiple configuration and simulation views for use in collaboration and comparison; enhanced support for big data platforms Cloudera and HortonWorks; integration with Jupyter notebook, allowing data scientists better testing of new models and use cases; and a new data mart feed to deploy Lily DNA efficiently and with ease to business users via standard Business Intelligence tools - including import and export via Apache Parquet files.
CEO Luc Burgelman (pictured) comments: 'Lily is a next-generation customer data platform that becomes the centerpiece of our customers' digital transformation efforts, which is why we are so committed to investing in deepening and strengthening the intelligence that fuels the platform. These enhancements to Lily provide a level of context and sophistication unique to the CDP market'.
