Shaw + Scott Buys Customer / UX Specialist Loxley
In the US, digital marketing consultancy Shaw + Scott has acquired customer and user experience specialist Loxley CX. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Seattle, WA-based Loxley CX uses qual and quant research to understand the customer journey and build 'data-intelligent', automated campaigns. It then uses data modeling and marketing platform solutions to help clients measure the effectiveness of their team and programs. In a statement, Shaw + Scott said the acquisition boosts cross-channel expertise and expands capabilities in mobile, web, social, search, display, direct mail and e-mail.
Loxley will become a Shaw + Scott brand with three divisions: Loxley, LoxleyEd, and LoxleyCX - with the last focusing on offering cross-channel and integrated capabilities to deliver CX/UX solutions. Loxley founder Wacarra Yeomans (pictured) will lead the group's Agency Services team offering design, copy and coding support, along with strategic CX/UX planning.
Jamie Frech, President of Shaw + Scott, comments: 'We value working with like-minded, unique and extremely talented professionals, and foster a true sense of unity both with our clients and with each other. The infusion of talent from Loxley gives us deeper understanding of the customer journey and allows the customer to tell us how they want to interact with their favorite brands'.
