Ogury Launches 'App Ecosystem Intelligence Solution'

London-based mobile data platform Ogury has launched an 'app ecosystem intelligence solution' called Active Insights, offering publishers access to real user behaviour data.

Jean CanzoneriOgury provides clients with a view of what people are doing on their smartphones - both in-app and out. Its proprietary device-level behavioral data collection technology, integrated within more than 10,000 apps, enables the company to build granular profiles on over 400 million individual mobile users across more than 120 countries. In December, the firm launched a tool called Lituus, which combines human intelligence and machine learning to help brands target specific audiences.

The new Active Insights solution has been developed to address the knowledge gap left by existing app store metrics and in-app analytics tools. Ogury says that by allowing publishers to explore the entirety of the app ecosystem, they can identify competitors and monitor their performance with like-for-like comparison of their own key metrics. They can also understand the churn factors that lead users to delete, download or re-download apps, and then activate these insights by building and exporting audience segments based on app usage.

CEO Jean Canzoneri (pictured) comments: 'With our solution, publishers are for the first time able to see and respond to detailed insights on user behaviour. The ability to then action those insights means publishers can supercharge their strategies to engage and retain users. The end result is a far superior experience for users, and an increased efficiency for publishers'.
