Harris Hires ORC's Mistry as Head of Employee Research
In London, full-service digital MR agency Harris Interactive has appointed former ORC International exec Vijay Mistry as Head of Employee Research. He replaces John Backhouse, who moved to ORC's Manchester office last summer to take up the role of Employee Insight Director.
Harris Interactive, which was acquired by Toluna parent company ITWP from Nielsen in 2014, offers a range of services for measuring employee satisfaction and engagement. This includes its proprietary Employer Power solution, designed to automate employee surveys, benchmarking and action planning. Mistry (pictured) joins after more than three years at ORC, where he served as Research Director and Private Sector Insight Team Manager in the Employee Research division. Prior to this, he worked for people and organizational advisory business Korn Ferry Hay Group, latterly as Senior Project Manager & Consultant, Insight across the MENA region.
In his new role, Mistry will head up Harris Interactive's Employee Research business. He replaces Backhouse, who previously spent nearly thirteen years at the company, latterly as Senior Associate Director, Employee Engagement Insight. Mistry now reports to Pete Cooke, Head of Digital Solutions, who comments: 'Vijay adds great expertise, energy and leadership to our expanding team. We're delighted he's joined and that our clients will now benefit from his experience and guidance. His knowledge of best practice, stakeholder consulting and business planning and improvement will help us take clients to the next level'.
