Schlesinger Opens 'Flagship Facility' in NYC
International data collection provider Schlesinger Group has opened what it describes as its new 'flagship facility' in Manhattan, New York, offering access to seven focus group suites and additional client work spaces.
Launched in 1966, and previously known as Schlesinger Associates, the group now employs more than 700 staff, who deliver online and in-person qual and quant services worldwide from offices in the US, UK, France, Spain and Germany. Its new space at 711, Third Avenue is located one block east of Grand Central Station, in a modernist building whose lobby includes an original mosaic mural (pictured) designed by abstract expressionist Hans Hofmann, installed when the building was constructed in 1956. Schlesinger's new office space includes a 'super-size' research room, private briefing rooms and client offices, dual receptions, and a terrace.
Commenting on the move to the new space, company President Mike Sullivan says: 'Our focus has been to customize our new research environment entirely to today's researcher needs. We are delighted with the result, and our talented team of feasibility consultants, account managers, facility managers, project managers and recruiters completes the offering to deliver a one-stop-solution for an exceptional New York research experience'.
