Ad Agency TBWA\Chiat\Day Hires Data Head
Omnicom ad agency TBWA\Chiat\Day has appointed Alberto Botero as Head of Data Agency. The firm has also promoted Tara Hagan to Director of Digital Strategy & Content Planning.
Botero joins the NYC-based firm from marcoms agency FCB Global, where as Vice President of Analytics he led the implementation of a new multi-touch / cross-device attribution tool and was responsible for several modeling and data science projects. Before this, he worked as Director of Analytics at WPP-owned shopper marketing agency Geometry Global; AD of Analytics & Accountability at Interpublic digital agency R/GA; and AD at Publicis-owned ad agency Digitas. Earlier, he was Manager Digital Research USA/Sci-Fi at NBC Universal, and Corporate Intelligence Lead at full-service agency Latinvox.
In his new role, Botero will act as the data steward in the New York office, helping to lead, build and push the practice. New York CEO Rob Schwartz comments: 'Alberto has a real vision for data, building our own data products and finding different and creative uses for it'.
Hagan joined the company in 2015 as Director of Business Analytics, having begun her career at Deloitte, before joining Omnicom as an MBA fellow.
