Restaurant Data Firm Bridg Names Chief Data Officer
In Los Angeles, restaurant customer insight business Bridg has appointed former Experian exec Eric Brue as Chief Data Officer.
Bridg's technology identifies and tracks customers in restaurant and retail chains, tapping into point-of-sale data to provide marketing and business intelligence which can be used to create personalized marketing campaigns. Last year, the firm raised $11m in a Series B funding round, which it is using to roll out its data to retailers in the US.
Brue (pictured) joins after nearly a decade at information giant Experian, where he latterly served as VP Strategy, Business Development and Emerging Data - this involved responsibility for the strategic development of partnerships, platforms and emerging/alternative data assets. In his new role, Brue will oversee data development efforts, with a focus on delivering insights to Bridg's partners and clients. He reports to founder and CEO Amit Jain, who comments: 'Erik's extensive experience in strategic development of emerging data will strengthen our ability to provide meaningful insights to our customers'.
