Dun & Bradstreet President and COO Quits
Business information veteran Dun & Bradstreet has announced that President and COO Joshua L. Peirez has resigned from the company to 'pursue other opportunities', effective March 15th. Board Chairman Thomas Manning will assume his duties pending the announcement of a transition plan.
Peirez (pictured) joined the firm in 2010 as President of Marketing & Innovation, and has since served in positions including President of Marketing and Innovation and President Global Product, Marketing and Innovation. He became COO in February 2014. For a decade previous to D&B, he worked for MasterCard, latterly as Chief Innovation Officer for the Worldwide division.
Peirez, who also spent 3 months last year on the board of Directors of comScore, said it had been 'a privilege to work alongside the Dun & Bradstreet senior leadership team and the Company's talented and dedicated employees', and added: 'After seven great years... it is now the right time for me to pursue other opportunities that have been presented to me'. Manning said Peirez had been 'a valued member of the senior leadership team', making 'numerous contributions', and added: 'On behalf of the Board, I wish Josh all the best in his next opportunity'.
