Infogix Strengthens Data Platform with Lavastorm Buy

US analytics software provider Infogix has acquired Lavastorm, a specialist in data preparation and advanced analytics, for an undisclosed sum.

Lavastorm provides intuitive data preparation and agile analytics for enterprise-grade business applications, allowing business users to build analytical applications rapidly, collaboratively and at scale, across multiple, disparate data sources. This will integrate with Infogix' data management capabilities to allow an end-to-end process for extracting and distributing data.

Infogix has been owned since 2016 by private equity firm Thoma Bravo - the owner of Keynote Systems and Deltek, and the following year made its own acquisitions of Data3Sixty and Data Clairvoyance Group.
