Kantar Hires de Vos as Audience Targeting Leader
Kantar Media has hired former GfK exec Bas de Vos as Global Director for Audience Targeting & Activation.
When he joins in June, de Vos (pictured) will have more than twenty years' media measurement and digital experience. Most recently, he worked for GfK as Global Director Strategy Media Measurement and Industry Lead Media & Entertainment, NL. Prior to this, he spent a decade as MD of Netherlands TV industry body SKO (Stichting KijkOnderzoek), which works with GfK on television audience measurement (TAM). Earlier, he was MD for nobo (Nederlandse Online BereiksOnderzoek), responsible for the Dutch online audience measurement project on behalf of Dutch online publishers' organisation VINEX; and he was Head of Audience Research for Netherlands Public Broadcasting.
In his new role, de Vos is charged with leading the development of Kantar Media's audience offer, connecting currency measurement, third party audience data, digital behavioural data and consumer insight to drive better targeting decisions.
