Leger Sells Consumer Vision to CRC Research
Research and strategic marketing firm Leger has sold its Toronto, Canada-based qual provider Consumer Vision to medical and consumer specialist CRC Research, as part of its 'digital shift' strategy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1980, Consumer Vision provides a range of services which include recruiting and hosting for focus groups in its own and partner facilities; test labs; F2F/intercepts; ethnography; eye tracking; data processing; coding; cross-tabs and analysis. The firm has extensive research experience in healthcare/pharma, consumer, business, financial and IT.
The deal follows CRC's previous acquisitions of focus group facility and qual recruitment providers Research House and Head Research, and adds to the group's sixteen focus group rooms in Toronto and its surrounding areas. It also has offices in Vancouver and Montréal. Owner Ed Gibson (pictured) comments: 'We are very proud to have purchased Consumer Vision, a firm strategically located at the heart of Toronto, known for the quality of its services, skilled professionals and state-of-the-art facilities. This market consolidation allows us to offer our clients the same quality of service and the best qualitative facilities across Canada'.
