Echo Bounces Back
In London, media and marketing insights firm Ebiquity is selling its reputation research business back to Sandra Macleod, via her agency Mindful Reputation, for an undisclosed sum. The business will resume its former name, Echo Research.
Reputation specialist Echo, which had offices in the UK, France, Singapore and the US, was sold to Ebiquity in 2011 and integrated into its Market Intelligence division. McLeod (pictured) left the company two years later to set up Mindful Reputation and The Academy for Communication Excellence. The new Echo Research will offer customised research and specialise in the evaluation and measurement of corporate reputation, branding and communications.
Macleod comments: 'I am thrilled to be reunited with this tremendous team. Combining forces again makes sense as more and more clients seek clear, pragmatic insights, metrics and leadership skills on their communications and reputations. This requires multi-disciplinary teams under one roof, capable of combining digital analytics, proven methodologies, global expertise, tailor-made solutions and qualified advisors, across a range of industries, making it easier for clients to access different state-of-the art services, advice and integrated reporting as needed'.
