Argentine Office To Form LatAm Hub for Maru Group
Tech-enabled insights firm Maru Group has opened an office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to be led by Daniel Finder. The office will serve as a hub for the group's Latin American operations.
Finder (pictured) brings more than twenty years' experience in the industry to his new role as CEO of Maru Group Latin America. After half a dozen year in MR roles at Procter & Gamble - including leadership of its global MR training programme - he joined Synovate, and after 18 months became MD of its Argentinian operation, in January 2009. After Ipsos' acquisition of Synovate he became the global group's Country Manager for Argentina in 2011, and subsequently CEO of its 'South Cone Cluster', which added Peru, Chile and Bolivia to his remit. He has been self-employed since leaving Ipsos in June 2016.
Maru says its products are 'perfectly suited for a market which is undergoing a fast-paced adoption of technology and growing demand for relevant insights, delivered at speed'. The group has had a busy April, with the launch of Maru/Blue, dedicated to giving clients access to known respondents from market communities across Canada and North America; and the appointment of
Gary Topiol as CEO of CX division Maru/Edr, both last week.
Group Chief Executive Ged Parton says of the latest news: 'Expamding Maru's offering to South America was a natural progression in the Group's growth trajectory and addresses the needs of many of our clients operating within the region, where there is currently limited provision of the end-to-end services that we offer. The demand for our multi-lateral expertise and services is a clear demonstration of the continued success of the Group in providing our clients with high quality insights'.
