Acumen Fieldwork Hires Two, Promotes Two

In the UK, Acumen Fieldwork has appointed former DJS Research execs Becky Coffey and Holly Slater as Fieldwork Managers in its Qualitative team, while promoting both Sam Garlick and Leanne Cross to the position of Senior Fieldwork Manager.

Founded in 2005 by Abi and Julie Fuller, Manchester-based Acumen offers a full range of methods for qual and quant fieldwork and recruitment, including healthcare. Both Coffey and Slater previously worked in field management roles at DJS Research. Coffey joined DJS in 2013 as a Field Assistant, was promoted in 2014 to Field Executive, and again in July 2017 to Senior Field Executive; while Slater joined the firm in 2013 as Field Recruitment Executive, before being promoted to the position of Senior Field Recruitment Executive a year ago.

Garlick began working in MR in 2015 after completing her degree in Psychology, and has worked across several sectors of the industry gaining recruitment experience in Acumen's sister company Research Opinions before transferring over to Qualitative Fieldwork. Cross joined Acumen in 2009 as an Administrator and was promoted to Fieldwork Manager a year later. The firm says their recent promotions demonstrate 'the experience and excellent skill set that they have both brought to their roles'.
