ISG Relocates Corporate HQ to Harbor Point
In the US, technology research and advisory firm Information Services Group (ISG) has moved from its long-time corporate headquarters in downtown Stamford, to a new 18,000 square foot location at 2187 Atlantic Street in the Harbor Point area of the city.
Founded by Chairman and CEO Michael Connors in 2006, ISG now employs more than 1,300 professionals operating across more than twenty countries. Since it was set up, the group has acquired TPI, Compass, STA Consulting, and more recently emerging IT trends analyst Saugatuck Technology, subscription-based research, advisory and benchmarking firm Experton Group AG, and outsourcing advisory firm Alsbridge Holdings.
Connors says the firm contributed more than $11m to the local economy last year and expects to contribute another $50m over the next three years, as ISG expands its presence in Stamford. As part of the HQ relocation, ISG will be receiving financial incentives from the city and state. Connors comments: 'We are excited to be a part of the up-and-coming Harbor Point community and to continue our long association with the City of Stamford and the State of Connecticut. We expect a steady stream of visitors to our new office, including clients, business partners and ISG employees from around the world - all contributing to the local economy'.
