AArete Hires IBM's Vasudev Bhat as Data Services MD

In the US, management consultancy AArete has appointed former IBM big data specialist Vasudev Bhat as Managing Director in its Data Services practice.

AArete specializes in data-driven operational performance improvement and strategic cost reduction, using a range of sourcing methodologies, big data analytics, proprietary revenue cycle optimization techniques. Its Knowledge Management Center is an internal intellectual property repository for benchmarking data and industry focused studies. Bhat joins from IBM, where he specialized in big data, advanced analytics, Internet of Things and cognitive customer care, advising clients on business/IT transformation using technologies in this space. Prior to IBM, Bhat worked at Accenture and iGATE, which is now a part of Capgemini.

In a statement, AArete said that Bhat's background in big data analytics, IT and business information will further advance the firm's insights in analytics and diagnostics that help construct customized solutions.
