ViewEverywhere Rolls Out Live Video Streaming Tools

In the UK, video streaming service ViewEverywhere has launched two products for market researchers, enabling live high definition video to be viewed securely through any device.

ViewEverywhere acts as a fly on the wall, allowing businesses to experience real world scenarios as they take place or at a time that suits them. The firm uses Amazon's Global Cloudfront Content Delivery Network, which accelerates video delivery including fast low latency video playback with minimal buffering.

The new tools - 'Anton' and 'Arthur' - are named after the creators' children. Anton enables users to stream anything, anywhere in high definition - from focus groups to in-home interviews, accompanied shopping, ethnographic studies and user experience trials. All that is needed is an Android smartphone and an Internet connection. The second tool, Arthur, is ViewEverywhere's media server, which allows multiple cameras to be set-up in any environment. The latter is mostly used in viewing facilities because it can handle up to sixteen cameras, dual languages, picture-in-picture configuration and also live onsite viewing via smart TV or any browser enabled device.
