Best Practice Insight Toolkit Launched
UK insight firm Spotty Dog Strategy has launched a toolkit promising 'everything an insight team could need'. The kit is designed as an end to end resource, from setting up an insight team to making good use of research - and includes an ROI calculator.
The 24 tools are divided into six sections, from 'setting the standards for a world class insight team's structure and skillset', via best practice planning and stakeholder management to 'getting the most out of your research'. Founder and MD Richard Matthews stresses the practicality of the kit, which is based on long experience on both client and agency side, describing it as 'packed full of really useful frameworks, processes and tools that are easy to use and actually work!' Additional workshop, training and consultancy support can be provided if required.
Matthews comments: 'We designed the Toolkit in response to the widespread need we discovered across all industry insight functions, all struggling with similar issues. One of the tools we have most enjoyed creating is the ROI calculator, which, when fed financial and industry data, can calculate the potential commercial impact of particular insight recommendations. This lends massive punch to research presentations and speaks the language that often drives decisions - money rather than percentages!'
