Mindshare Promotes to Drive Expansion of UK Planning
WPP media agency network Mindshare has promoted Ruth Zohrer and Alan Weetch to its leadership team, and Nikki Gunning and Emily Scovell to Planning Partners. The group says it has 'ambitious plans to evolve its planning offer across the UK'.
Mindshare has billings in excess of US$34.5bn, and more than 7,000 employees, in 116 offices across 86 countries.
Zohrer was previously Head of Connections Planning, and now takes the newly created role of Chief Product Officer, responsible for driving the integration of Mindshare's offer across media buying, data and technology services, e-commerce and digital analytics. Before joining the company, she was EMEA manager for Agencies & Advertisers Services at AppNexus where she built up and managed the technical services teams.
Weetch takes the title of Chief of Planning Operations, leading the planning department in close co-operation with CSO Matt Andrews. He will also remain hands-on with two key accounts, Three Mobile and Warbutons, which he oversaw in his previous role as Client Partner.Before joining Mindshare, he was General Manager of Ikon Communications Sydney.
Both Weetch and Zohrer previously played important parts in integrating Mindshare's AMF planning process into the agency.
Gunning and Scovell, who have been instrumental in driving changes to the product, work and management of the team, will now report into Weetch,
