Pureprofile Hires Former AdRoll APAC MD

In Australia, online research and digital ad targeting business Pureprofile has hired former AdRoll MD Ben Sharp as Head of Revenue and Operations. He joins the firm next month.

Pureprofile collects consumers' profile data in exchange for rewards, and offers ad targeting, content strategy and research panel services. In 2016, it acquired digital lead generation company Cohort Holdings Australia, and now counts Cohort as one of four subsidiary firms, alongside Sparcmedia, AdSparc and Bidobo.

Sharp (pictured) joins from retargeting and prospecting platform AdRoll, where he served as MD of the APAC region. Before this, he was General Manager Australia & NZ for growth marketing platform Vizury, co-founded consumer technology and women's lifestyle online publisher Allure Media, and served as Group Sales Manager at Yahoo7, having previously been a Senior Account Manager at Yahoo! Inc.

In his new role, Sharp will oversee the sales process, with a focus on simplifying product offerings across all business units. The firm said in a statement: 'Ben's role will be significant in optimising revenue growth across Pure Profile's ANZ operations, the company's biggest market. It is intended that the success of his strategy will be replicated across other markets in time'.
