We Work With Data Closes, w3dL Limited Opens
In the UK, MR analysis and data collection business We Work With Data has closed because of 'complex legal issues', five months after the sudden death of co-founder and MD Steve Taylor. A new company called w3dL Limited will carry Taylor's approach and ethos forward.
The firm was set up in 2009 by Taylor and former Harris Research Centre colleagues Mike Trotman and Antony Saccomani, with the aim of helping clients make sense of data and understand the insights it can deliver. Taylor died of a brain haemorrhage in January and the company has continued with staff and external advisors at the helm.
However, the team said in a statement that despite all their efforts, matters beyond their control and complex legal issues have necessitated the closure of the existing company and the establishment of w3dL Limited. The new company's Board of Directors comprises Kent business advisor Bill Fox, Natalka Sokolowski, Julia Moore, Adrian Golder-Hayes and Keith Miller. All members of the Board previously worked closely with Taylor, either as employees of We Work With Data Limited, or as advisors.
