Further Asian Roll-out for Nielsen's Media Impact
Nielsen has announced the expansion of its Media Impact service to the Philippines, a fourth Asian market following Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Media Impact was developed four years ago in partnership with modelling specialist Pointlogic, and forms a key part of the ratings giant's Total Audience framework, which helps marketers plan and optimise ad campaigns across TV, radio, and print; and publishers to monetise. It does this by giving them what it calls 'a comprehensive and granular understanding of their audience - who they are, what they like and how they interact with content, everywhere'.
The service is already available in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, the US, Belgium and New Zealand, in addition to the four Asian countries. The Hong Kong launch was reported on DRNO last September.
