Pharma MR Publication Launched

MR publisher RFL Communications, Inc. has launched what it claims is the world's first pharmaceutical market research publication.

RFL has been publishing more general market research newsletters since 1995 but Pharma Market Research Report is its first industry-specific MR publication. The company's other regular reports are Research Business Report (since 1995), Research Conference Report (since 1997) and Research Department Report (1998).

'Pharma Market Research Report covers the pharmaceutical market research industry vertical, which is actually very broad', commented RFL Communications, Inc. Publisher and Editor Bob Lederer, who says coverage will include market research done with consumers, physicians and products as well as numerous fields and institutions including prescription and OTC drugs, medical devices, diagnostics, biotech, life sciences, healthcare, pharmacies, hospitals and insurers'.

According to Lederer, the lack of any existing publication covering pharma MR, together with 'the size and breadth of the field plus the challenges faced by market researchers in the field, led us to roll out this new publication. There is so much of note going on in pharmaceutical market research that we will have no trouble filling the newsletter with information that will not duplicate what we report in our other MR newsletters'.

The Report aims to cover the news, issues, emerging trends, winning strategies and practitioner successes that are advancing the pharmaceutical market research industry, across the globe.

A minimum of eight issues of Pharma Market Research Report will be published in its first year. An introductory subscription costs $399.00. The first issue was published in July and can be viewed for free via www.rflonline.com

Pharmaceuticals and healthcare researchers can make use of two specialist features of MrWeb, www.marketpharma.com - for searches of MrWeb's database confined to pharma and healthcare roles - and news, desk research links and supplier searches on the sector focus page at www.mrweb.com/pharma . There is some overlap between these and they are likely to be combined in the near future.
