PDI Appoints President to Consolidate Marketing Services
Healthcare sales and marketing company PDI, Inc. has promoted Steven K. Budd to the new role of PDI President of Global Sales and Marketing Services. His role includes full responsibility for the marketing research unit, known as TVG.
Budd will also have full responsibility for PDI's outsourced sales force solutions businesses, including all contract teams and the company's rapidly growing medical education unit. He assumes from Charles Saldarini, PDI's Vice Chairman and CEO, the responsibility for strategic planning, business development and account development for Global Sales and Marketing Services.
According to Saldarini, the move consolidates the complete responsibilities for the services business under the new President and will 'improve our efforts to deliver growth, integrate the set of business services we offer and also to help identify new services that are consistent with our service platform'.
