Schlesinger Promotes for Texas Leadership Role
Data collection and research services provider Schlesinger Group has promoted John Simon to the role of Director, Client Solutions, following the retirement of Nancy Ashmore, who has led the firm's Texas market for the past fifteen years.
Launched in 1966, and previously known as Schlesinger Associates, the group now employs more than 700 staff, who deliver online and in-person qual and quant services worldwide from offices in the US, UK, France, Spain and Germany. Simon joined Schlesinger's Texas team in 2005, and has risen through the ranks in qualitative data collection, immersing himself in both online and in-person projects across the healthcare, consumer and B2B markets. Most recently, he served as Account Manager, Strategic Development.
In his new position, Simon oversees the recruiting and facility operations in Dallas and Houston, while managing national key client accounts. Ashmore, from whom he takes the reins, joined the company in 2003 as Facility Director, having previously spent two decades at Fenton Swanger Consumer Research. She began her MR career at M/A/R/C Research.
Mike Sullivan, President, comments: 'We thank Nancy for her inspired leadership and outstanding contribution in positioning Schlesinger as a Texas market leader. We are thrilled that John will lead this market into the future. His wealth of experience, in-depth local knowledge, and leadership abilities are valuable assets for our clients and I am confident that John is the ideal person to build on our success'.
