Marketagent.com Launches Panels in Latvia and Nicaragua
Austrian online market research specialist Marketagent.com has launched new ISO-certified panels in Latvia and Nicaragua - bringing its total reach to 52 countries, 28 languages and 1.2 million participants. Expansion to two markets in South America is planned for later this year.
Marketagent.com was established seventeen years ago by CEO Thomas Schwabl (pictured), and has around 25 staff, with headquarters in Baden bei Wien, Austria; and offices in Zurich, Switzerland; and Maribor, Slovenia. In 2009, the firm was the first institute in the German-speaking world to be certified according to the ISO standard for online access panels (ISO 26362: 2009). Around 1,300 new consumers are recruited daily through the company's portfolio of media and partners, with user bias minimised by focusing on off-line recruitment activities such as print ads, billboard advertising, radio and TV spots.
Schwabl comments: 'Due to the increasing digitization in market and opinion research, geographical borders are playing an increasingly minor role and more and more transnational research projects are being handled centrally. Marketagent.com recognized this development early on and since then has recruited its own panel capacities in neighboring countries. Currently, studies in 52 markets and 28 languages can be offered and conducted through our self-recruited pool of participants - from Norway to South Africa. This not only ensures independence from the shrinking home market, but also creates access to international multi-country projects'.
