respondi Promotes Hempel for New UK Sales Role

German sample and panel provider respondi has promoted Irena Hempel to the newly created role of Vice President, Sales UK, based in London.

Through its offices in Cologne, Paris and London, respondi provides participants for qual and quant online and mobile surveys via its own online access panels. Last year, the firm launched an interactive analysis tool called beatery which connects declarative and behavioral data with the aim of delivering 'more exact, speedier, and simple insight into people and markets'.

Hempel (pictured) joined respondi's German HQ in 2010, originally as an intern Project Manager, before moving into sales and then relocating to London three years ago. Most recently, she served as Sales Manager, and in her new role, she will help create new strategies for the continuing growth of the UK office.

Commenting on the promotion UK MD Jennifer Roberton explains: 'Irena's appointment to this position is a great step forward both personally for her and for our business. She will undoubtedly succeed in this role, exactly as she has done in her previous ones.'
