Major Real Estate Firm Appoints VP, MR
Crescent Real Estate Equities Company has appointed a vice president, market research to its capital markets team. Jeanette I. Rice, who has 21 years' experience of real estate market economics, will provide investment strategy, comparative market analysis, portfolio and transaction support for Crescent's capital markets activities.
Crescent owns and manages a portfolio of 74 premier office buildings totalling nearly 29.7m square feet and is one of the largest publicly held real estate investment trusts in the US.
Prior to joining Crescent, Ms. Rice served as a principal and senior research member for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Inc. She has also served as a senior managing director, research for Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, LP. Ms. Rice's experience covers analysis of national and regional real estate property markets, capital markets, and economies, in every region of the USA. Ms. Rice, a frequent public speaker, is a Counsellor of Real Estate (CRE) and a Homer Hoyt Fellow. She is active in numerous professional organizations and currently serves on the NMHC Research Advisory Board, on the Editorial Advisory Board of CMBS World, CMSA's quarterly publication, and on GlobeSt.com's 'Think Tank' advisory board. She is the 2003 chair of the CRE Business Issues committee and 2003 Secretary / Treasurer of the CRE-DFW Chapter.
