SRI Hires Principal and Head of Qual
In the US, healthcare industry specialist Strategic Research Insights (SRI) has appointed David Hooper as Principal & Head of Qualitative Research.
Based in Princeton, New Jersey, the firm provides primary MR and secondary analytics offerings, with expertise ranging from qualitative moderation and analysis to operations research, advanced statistical analysis and modeling.
Hooper (pictured) joins with twenty years of experience leading and managing strategic research and analysis initiatives in the sector. Most recently, he served as a Partner at healthcare insights provider Evolution Marketing Research, before which he was Director, Global Market Information & Research at Warner Chilcott (acquired by Actavis); Team Leader, Global Customer Insights at Merck; and Senior Manager, Global Market Research at Schering-Plough (acquired by Merck). Earlier, he was Manager at Namelsis Research (acquired by Synovate) and he worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Territory Business Manager.
In his new hands-on role, Hooper will be responsible for developing new qualitative methodologies, while managing a team of moderators and fieldwork managers.
