Schlesinger Takes Over Shapiro+Raj Qual Fieldwork Unit
International data collection provider Schlesinger Group has taken over the Qualitative Fieldwork Practice (QFP) of insights firm Shapiro+Raj, which will now focus on its core business. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Shapiro+Raj was formed in 2014 when business transformation specialist Zain Raj acquired a majority interest in independent MR firm Shapiro. Raj says the QFP transfer will provide clients with access to the combined power of the Shapiro+Raj QFP team and Schlesinger Group's extended reach and facilities.
As part of the deal, Susan Stanicek (pictured) of Shapiro+Raj's QFP will join Schlesinger Group along with her team, and will continue to service QFP clients. Stanicek has been appointed VP, Client Solutions for Schlesinger Chicago under the Midwest regional leadership of Tim Sauer, SVP Client Solutions.
Group CEO Steve Schlesinger comments: 'We are delighted that Zain and his team have selected Schlesinger Group to take care of the fieldwork and facility needs of their clients. Susan and her talented team are integrating extremely well into our company and bringing value as they continue to deliver recruiting and project management excellence and to integrate the Shapiro+Raj panel. We look forward to much success together in supporting our clients in the Midwest'.
