Delineate Hires First Chief Marketing Officer
In the UK, London and Manchester-based research and data firm Delineate has hired former uSamp / Instantly marketer Catherine Gibbon for the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer.
The firm works exclusively with clients in the marketing and communications space, with a focus on providing audience insights; original research-based content; and measurement and analytics. Gibbon (pictured) joins from SIM technology provider Truphone, where she led UK product marketing. Prior to this, she worked for audience and insights platform uSamp (now part of Research Now SSI) as Senior Marketing Manager for Europe, and earlier she held marketing and management consulting roles at Capgemini, GE and Lloyds TSB.
In her new position, Gibbon will be responsible for Delineate's overall marketing strategy and execution. Ben Leet, Gibbon's former colleague who is now Delineate's Chief Client Officer, comments: 'Adding a CMO to our leadership team has been a strategic milestone for Delineate for some time, and we couldn't be more delighted that somebody of Catherine's calibre has chosen to join us'.
