Opinium Hires Rhys Jones as Research Director

London-based full service insight agency Opinium has hired former Harris Interactive / YouGov exec Rhys Jones as Research Director.

Rhys JonesFounded in 2007, Opinium offers qual and quant research and consultancy across five practice areas - brand and communications, product and service development, stakeholder, market intelligence and thought leadership. The company owns and manages panels of UK consumers, IFAs and small businesses, and runs an omnibus which interviews 2000 UK adults in each wave. The firm was named Best Place to Work at the MRS Awards 2017, for the second year in a row.

Jones (pictured) joins from Harris Interactive, where he served as UK Head of Products and Automation, with responsibility for the strategy and financial performance of both new and existing digital research products in the UK. Prior to this, he spent more than seven years at YouGov, latterly as a Director co-heading the Omnibus research department of more than twenty staff. Earlier, he worked for Ipsos MORI as a Research Manager at Ipsos Marketing, having begun his career as a Business Researcher at Which?
