Adobe 'Virtual Analyst' to Spot 'Unknown Unknowns'

Adobe has enhanced its Analytics suite with machine learning software designed to root out things that users 'didn't know they didn't know'. The firms says this 'Virtual Analyst' has been in development for three years.

Adobe 'Virtual Analyst' to Spot 'Unknown Unknowns'Virtual Analyst combines capabilities from existing products including Anomaly Detection and Contribution Analysis, and is integrated into the company's Adobe Sensei framework. It continually updates its knowledge of users' preferences and prioritizes data based on their and their company's context, without the need for prompts. The system also combines this with a mass of other information collected by the software giant on behalf of its customers, to spot trends and identify nuances in historical data.

Quoted on www.mediapost.com , Director of Product Management John Bates says future editions will include suggestions for follow-up action, such as email remarketing or targeting campaigns. He comments: 'This is a stepping stone for a much broader vision'.
