IAB Names SVP of Research and Measurement
In New York, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has appointed Susan (Sue) Hogan as Senior Vice President of Research and Measurement, tasked with driving initiatives to provide insights for its members.
Hogan (pictured) joins with 30 years' expertise in consumer insights and integrated media strategy. Most recently, she worked for Mindshare as SVP, MD, Analytics & Insights; having previously been SVP, Group Partner, Research at Universal McCann; and VP, Digital Research & Measurement at Viacom Media Networks. She also spent a decade as Adjunct Professor at City College of NY; and served as Director, Research/Sales Development at Martha Steward Living Omnimedia.
In her new role, Hogan will also oversee IAB's development of media measurement best practices and guidelines. She replaces Chris Kuist, who joined in April last year from The Weather Company, and is now providing research consultancy in the non-profit sector.
Randall Rothenberg, IAB CEO, comments: 'Sue Hogan is extraordinarily well-equipped to lead our research efforts, ensuring that our many stakeholders have the insights and tools they need to navigate the shifting landscape. Her expertise in media measurement will be a tremendous asset as we undergo dramatic changes on that front as well'.
