Retail Behaviour Specialist Bluecore Opens in London
New York-based retail behaviour and product data specialist Bluecore has opened an office in London, from where it will aim to help European and global retail brands increase revenue growth without the use of third-party consumer data or cookies.
Using Bluecore, marketers can launch personalized campaigns through a single platform that connects real-time product and customer data. The firm's AI-driven decisioning engine determines the timing and content for the next-best communication based on insight into individual shoppers' onsite behavior and how specific product shifts influence their actions. Bluecore currently manages more than 500 million unique customer IDs, and a cumulative product set which it says is larger than Walmart and rivalled only by Amazon.
In London, the new office will be led by Mike Harris (pictured), who joins as Vice President and General Manager after a career which has included launching web personalization software provider Monetate Europe, and serving as SVP Global Sales at conversion targeting specialist Cognitive Match. He was also General Manager responsible for launching, growing and managing Omniture's online testing and optimization platform Test&Target across Europe, and most recently he was COO of customer engagement software platform Intilery.
Harris will report to COO Rob Holland, who comments: 'Over the last four years, the Bluecore Retail Marketing Platform has provided value for global marketers in 65 countries. Mike brings extensive EMEA experience to Bluecore. This will be invaluable to our rapid expansion outside of North America and will give us a strong foundation upon which to further support our existing European customers'.
