Nick Baker Named Morar HPI MD
In London, brand performance measurement specialist Morar HPI has appointed former Verve MD Nick Baker as Managing Director. He replaces Julian Dailly, who is now leading the development and globalisation of the firm's BrandVue syndicated insight product.
Formed last year when marcoms business Next15 merged its two research brands - Morar Consulting and HPI - the Morar HPI business combines research, data, tech and strategic thinking capabilities. Baker (pictured) joins after two years at online MR community specialist Verve, where he served as MD, Research & Consulting. Prior to this, he spent more than ten years at Quadrangle Research Group, the last six as Group CEO. In addition, he is a Market Research Society Board member and he chairs its Delphi group thinktank.
Baker describes his move as 'an exciting opportunity to lead a widely respected agency'. Roger Perowne, CEO of Next15's MIG Global data and insights group, the parent of Morar HPI, adds: 'I'm delighted that Nick is joining us. Our full service research offering and daily syndicated brand tracker, BrandVue, have seen significant growth and Nick's vast experience will be invaluable in delivering and building further upon that'.
