STACK Hires for Data Science and Planning Roles
In London, customer engagement agency STACK has hired former Merkle execs Ian Skinner as Head of Data Science and Andy O'Brien as Head of Data Planning.
STACK employs a team of data scientists, behavioural experts, and strategists to understand clients' audiences. Skinner joins from data-driven performance marketing agency Merkle, where he served as Head of Data Science, before which, he spent nearly sixteen years at MRM Worldwide - latterly as Head of Business Intelligence, and he was Data Manager at Claritas. In his new position, Skinner is tasked with developing STACK's Data Science capability. O'Brien previously spent more than four years at Merkle, where he latterly served as Client Partner, having earlier held senior positions at (Beta), RAPP and DDB.
They will both report to Chief Data Officer Mark King, who comments: 'Andy and Ian have worked with the most desirable customer experience brands around, and bring with them world-class expertise in customer-driven strategies and connected journeys. They've developed customer data platforms from scratch and advised media agencies on how to sharpen the prospecting powers of the DMP. Suffice to say that STACK cannot wait for the two of them to get started.'
