de Balanzo Returns to Walnut as Consultancy Director
Cristina de Balanzo, the founder of what is now known as Walnut Unlimited, has returned to the company after nearly a year of maternity leave, as Consultancy Director. The role includes representing the company at events and conferences worldwide.
Balanzo (pictured) set up consumer neuroscience consultancy Walnut in 2012, and sold it to Unlimited Group (previously Creston) in 2014. She was previously Global Head of Neuroscience at TNS, responsible for applying neuroscientific insights and methods to traditional research across all areas. Earlier, she was a Strategic Planner at McCann Erickson. Additionally, she has written numerous papers and published articles about consumer neuroscience and consumer insight/creativity, and is a regular speaker at industry conferences such as ESOMAR, MRS, WARC and BAQMAR.
Unlimited Group said in a statement that Balanzo's network of contacts both in the field of research and client side makes her an incredible asset to Walnut Unlimited and the wider group.
