BVA Nudge Unit Opens in US
Paris-based research and consultancy company BVA Group has rolled out its 'Nudge Unit' in New York, adding to offices and consultants in France, the UK, Latin America and Asia.
The BVA Nudge Unit uses behavioral science to help corporations, government entities and NGOs achieve organizational change. Drawing on principles made famous by academics and Nobel Prize winners such as Richard Thaler and Daniel Kahneman, the unit specializes in the creation and execution of interventions that 'nudge' consumers, citizens, employees and leaders towards desired behavior.
Jenic Mantashian (pictured), EVP of the Unit, comments: 'There is tremendous curiosity and enthusiasm in the US market to apply 'nudge' principles and frameworks to challenges in business and society. The issues we help clients address include sustainability, gender equality, safety at work, ethics and social responsibility, eco-friendly and healthy practices, and overall corporate and social objectives. We are proud that clients find our interventions practical, actionable, simple and effective and we look forward to being able to provide them to new partners in North America'.
Founded in 2013, the BVA Nudge Unit is part of the BVA Group, which also owns consumer insight firm BDRC, mystery shopping specialist Masters Consultants, and shopper research specialist PRS IN VIVO.
