Social Media Analyst Talkwalker Expands to Singapore

Social media monitoring and analytics platform Talkwalker has opened an office in Singapore, adding to existing locations in Luxembourg, New York, San Francisco and Frankfurt.

Acquired by Marlin Equity Partners in January, Talkwalker's platform monitors and analyzes online conversations in real-time across social media networks, news web sites, blogs and forums in 187 languages. The firm recently launched an 'AI Engine', further automating the analytics process.

The new office in Singapore will be led by former Gartner exec Ben Soubies, Head of Sales, Asia Pacific, and will support clients across the region. CEO Robert Glaesener (pictured) comments: 'The new office forms part of our long-term strategy of helping global businesses develop their data maturity. This involves providing brands with wider data sources, powerful analytical tools, and the support of a local expert customer support team, to turn that data into actionable insights, and optimize the impact of their communication efforts'.
