NPD Names Lori Monaco President of US Beauty
In the US, retail information provider The NPD Group has moved Lori Monaco to the positon of President of its US Beauty practice, responsible for overseeing its products and services in the sector.
Monaco (pictured) was previously President of NPD's Fashion, Footwear, Accessories and Luxury divisions. She has more than 25 years' experience in market research, strategy, consumer insights, and business development spanning numerous industries, including fashion, footwear, accessories, food, beverages and packaged goods. Before joining NPD in 2003 to guide the launch of its watches and jewellery tracking services, Monaco worked for Kraft Foods as Senior Category Insights & Strategy Manager, and before this she spent six years at Nielsen.

As a result of Monaco's move, Sarah Bloch takes over the role of Commercial Lead for NPD's Fashion Footwear and Accessories practice. Bloch, who has been with NPD for three years, has more than sixteen years' experience in the footwear industry. Liz Cutting joins NPD's US Watches team as the Commercial Lead, with more than 25 years' marketing and analysis experience, most recently as Executive Director of NPD's Checkout service.
